After a decade in the Netherlands, poker professional Bryan Paris has relocated to Florida, embracing a fresh start both in life and career. His return to the United States marks not just a geographical shift but also a professional transformation. With his recent signing as a poker streamer for Americas Cardroom (ACR), Paris is reigniting his presence in the online poker world. The move comes after years of feeling isolated from his Twitch audience, and he is eager to reconnect with the poker community through high-stakes tournaments and interactive streaming.
Paris envisions a more dynamic streaming approach this time around. While his past content focused primarily on online poker, he now aims to integrate live poker vlogs and behind-the-scenes tournament footage. ACRs social media team will assist in amplifying his reach, allowing him to share his experiences from the global poker circuit. He believes that streaming from the U.S. will grant him access to a much larger audience, with American poker fans being a crucial demographic. Additionally, he plans to offer coaching seminars and promote his educational courses, expanding his influence beyond just gameplay.
Despite ACR’s lack of a Dutch gaming license and the recent fine imposed on its parent company, Winning Poker Network (WPN), Paris acknowledges the importance of gambling regulations. While he respects the Dutch government efforts to curb gambling addiction, he also sees poker as a game of skill rather than pure chance. Although Dutch players won’t be able to participate on ACR, they can still follow his journey on Twitch, where he plans to stream 35 hours a week and document his travels to major events like the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

What scoop do you have to tell us about becoming a poker streamer again?
Ive joined ACR Stormers and will try to work my way up as a full-time pro. They have excellent opportunities, like freerolls for Triton packages, which Im excited about. Mostly, Im thrilled to be back on Twitch and engage with my audience again. Ive felt somewhat isolated over the last couple of years since I havent been able to stream.
Now that you ve signed with ACR as a streamer, whats your vision for your content? Are you planning to approach streaming differently than before?
Yes, I want to mix live poker content with vlogs. ACR has a fantastic social media team that will help me with content, so I expect to be much more productive. I think I live a pretty interesting life when I travel for poker tournaments, and Im excited to share that experience.
Do you believe that Florida, and being in the U.S. in general, will help you reach a bigger audience as a poker streamer?
Yes, streaming during American hours and being promoted to an American audience will definitely help. Many Europeans speak English, but the U.S. remains the largest market. I also think I’ll be able to host more coaching seminars and promote my three poker courses.
ACR doesn’t have a license in the Netherlands, and WPN was recently fined by the Dutch gambling authority. What do you think of the Dutch online poker regulation, and do you believe there’s a future for ACR in the Netherlands?
I dont begrudge any country for trying to protect its citizens from gambling addiction, which is a very real issue. I think some forms of gambling, like poker and prediction markets, can be positive, but others, like slots, generally are not. I have friends who have suffered greatly from gambling addiction, so I see both sides of the debate, even though regulations have made things harder for me.
For poker fans in the Netherlands, can we still follow your stream without actually playing on ACR? What’s your plan for content now that youre under the ACR banner?
Yes! Ill be on Twitch 35 hours a week for the first time in years. I hope many of my Dutch and European viewers will join me. I also plan to expand into travel vlogs, covering events like the WSOP. I m very excited to play on the U.S. live circuit for the first time in over a decade.
